On the morning of 11-4-22, the Monroe Police Department HEAT team conducted a traffic stop leading to the arrest of twenty-five-year-old Jafelix Taylor. Jafelix Taylor was wanted on five counts of attempted 2nd degree murder resulting from a shooting on 5-26-20 in the 4000 Block of Byers. Jafelix Taylor was booked at the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center without incident.
