Shortly before 12:30a.m. on September 23, 2022, Officers with the Monroe Police Department were sent to 1101 Richwood Road #2 in reference to a shooting. Officers located a male and female victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The female victim passed away as a result of her injuries.
Detectives were called to the scene and are actively investigating the incident. More information will be released as the case develops.
